Frequently Asked Questions

Question 1

What is a VIP private tour?

Accepted Answer

A VIP private tour gives your group an exclusive, dedicated guide for the entire day. Your guide handles everything — from navigating the parks and securing access to the best attractions, to coordinating dining reservations and making sure every moment is magical. No strangers, no shared groups, just your family and your personal expert.

Question 2

Which parks do you offer VIP tours for?

Accepted Answer

We offer private VIP tours at all four Walt Disney World parks (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios), Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, and the brand-new Epic Universe. We also offer combined Disney + Universal packages for the ultimate Orlando experience.

Question 3

How long have you been in business?

Accepted Answer

Magic VIP Tours has been creating unforgettable Orlando experiences since 2018. We're proud to be TripAdvisor Travelers' Choice 2019–2025 and hold a 4.8★ rating on Google from 37 reviews.

Question 4

Are you an official Disney or Universal partner?

Accepted Answer

We are an independent, independent tour operator based in Orlando. Our guides are deeply experienced professionals who know every corner of these parks. We work within all park rules and policies to give your group the best possible experience.

Question 5

How much does a VIP tour cost?

Accepted Answer

Tours start at $279/hr per guide with a 6-hour minimum. Pricing varies by park, group size, and duration. A $399 deposit per guide, per day reserves your date — fully refundable within 7 days of booking. The remaining balance plus sales tax is due before your tour. Contact us for a free, no-obligation quote.

Question 6

Why is there a 6-hour minimum?

Accepted Answer

Why a 6-hour minimum works in your favor: Covers the headline rides across the busiest part of the day. Room for a sit-down meal or a pool break without losing your plan. Lets your guide time Lightning Lanes and virtual queues across the whole day. One dedicated guide the entire time, no handoffs. A relaxed pace for little kids and grandparents.

Question 7

Does the tour price include park admission tickets?

Accepted Answer

Park admission tickets are not included in the tour fee and must be purchased separately. We're happy to advise on the best ticket options for your group and help you plan the most cost-effective approach.

Question 8

How far in advance should I book?

Accepted Answer

We recommend booking at least 2–4 weeks in advance, especially during peak seasons like summer, spring break, and the holiday period. Popular dates fill up quickly, so the sooner you reach out, the better your chances of securing your preferred date.

Question 9

What is your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

We understand plans change. Our cancellation policy is outlined in your booking agreement. We work with families on a case-by-case basis and always aim to be as flexible as possible. Contact us directly to discuss your situation.

Question 10

Do you require a deposit to hold my date?

Accepted Answer

$399 deposit per guide, per day reserves your date. Your deposit is fully refundable within 7 days of booking. The remaining balance plus sales tax is due before your tour.

Question 11

How do VIP tours help with wait times?

Accepted Answer

Our guides are experts at minimizing wait times. They know the optimal ride order, the best times to visit each attraction, and how to use every available tool — including Lightning Lane, virtual queues, and park-specific strategies. Most guests experience minimal to no waits on many attractions, though actual wait times vary by date and park conditions.

Question 12

Can we customize our tour itinerary?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Your tour is built around your family's interests, must-do rides, dining preferences, and pace. Before your tour, we'll have a detailed planning conversation to understand exactly what matters most to you. Your guide then executes that vision on the day.

Question 13

What if it rains or a ride goes down?

Accepted Answer

Orlando weather is unpredictable, and parks are dynamic environments. Your guide is trained to adapt in real time — rerouting to indoor attractions, adjusting the schedule, and making the most of every situation. Rain often means shorter lines, and our guides know exactly how to take advantage.

Question 14

Do you help with character meet-and-greets?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Character experiences are a highlight for many families. Your guide will help plan and coordinate character meet-and-greets as part of your day, including knowing the best times and locations to find your favorite characters.

Question 15

Can you help with dining reservations?

Accepted Answer

Yes — we can assist with dining reservation strategy and recommendations as part of your tour planning. Popular restaurants like Be Our Guest, Cinderella's Royal Table, and Space 220 book up months in advance, so we'll advise you on timing and options.

Question 16

What is the maximum group size for a VIP tour?

Accepted Answer

Our standard VIP tours accommodate groups of up to 10 guests per guide. For larger groups or multi-family experiences, we can arrange multiple guides to ensure everyone receives the same premium level of service.

Question 17

Do you accommodate guests with disabilities or mobility needs?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. We are experienced in planning tours for guests with a wide range of accessibility needs, including mobility limitations, sensory sensitivities, and medical requirements. Please let us know your needs when booking so we can plan accordingly.

Question 18

Are VIP tours good for young children and toddlers?

Accepted Answer

VIP tours are perfect for families with young children. Your guide will pace the day appropriately, prioritize age-appropriate attractions, build in rest breaks, and handle all the logistics so parents can be fully present and enjoy the magic with their little ones.

Question 19

Can you accommodate guests who don't speak English?

Accepted Answer

Please contact us to discuss language needs. We will do our best to match you with a guide who can communicate effectively with your group.

Question 20

Where do we meet our guide?

Accepted Answer

Your guide will meet you at a designated meeting point at the park entrance. You'll receive detailed instructions before your tour date, including exactly where to meet and what to look for. Your guide will be easy to spot and will reach out to confirm on the morning of your tour.

Question 21

What should we wear and bring?

Accepted Answer

Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are a must — you'll be doing a lot of walking. Dress for the weather (Florida sun is intense), bring sunscreen, and stay hydrated. Your guide will handle everything else. We'll send you a full preparation checklist before your tour.

Question 22

How early should we arrive at the park?

Accepted Answer

We recommend arriving at least 30–45 minutes before your scheduled tour start time. Early arrival allows you to clear park security, grab a coffee, and be ready to hit the ground running the moment your guide meets you.

Question 23

What happens if we need to reschedule?

Accepted Answer

Life happens. Contact us as soon as possible if you need to reschedule and we'll do everything we can to find an alternative date that works for your family. Rescheduling policies are outlined in your booking agreement.
